The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was huge, it had a sitting room with a fridge, micro and sink.
First off, when I used the toilet (just to pee) it clogged. The girl at the desk couldn't get a plunger cuz it was locked up so an hour later, she dropped one off to me. I used it and up came someone elses' poop and a hyperdermic needle. At that time we called her and she came up--bottom line toilet never flushed more than one time after all the work they continually did. I was miserable all nite cuz did not want to use it. Breakfast had moldy food and little to eat but a pear and some crackers. Windows would not shut in the other room so couldn't have the air conditioner on. Bed had a plastic cover on that made us sweat all nite. Supposedly we are going to get our money back for the room since the toilet never worked, but we are still waiting.
Everything. From the moment we got out the taxi, till the moment they called said bye when we were leaving.
Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
the people and the price
the neighborhood, the breakfast, lack of hot water
The staff was fantastic! Very helpful, and gave me directions to a great little local restaurant I never would have found on my own for some good Puerto Rican food.
It's near a few bars near the university, and can get a little loud on a weekend night.
The price and location are good. The staff were very nice and friendly.
There're four bars near the hotel. So it could be little difficult to get into sleep if you are a light sleeper.
Everything was close by like Walgreens, restaurants to order food that were pretty reasonably priced, parking across the street and everything a traveler could need in a hotel room.
Parking isn't big enough and I don't think it even belonged to the hotel, because a lot of times cars had to be moved out of parking lot to accomodate church staff for mass and certain spots were not allowed to be used, so you would have to park elsewhere.
Good proximity to airport, very friendly/helpful staff, parking, area, quiet, comfortable. Good value for the the cost!
Staff was nice and rooms were clean
Flat pillows, plastic on mattress made it loud, was not queen bed but double, towels needed to be replaced, not so sure about neighborhood.
The owners were extremely friendly and helpful when we had questions or needed a taxi. They directed us to a marketplace that was fantastic. We had two rooms, plenty of space, and enjoyed staying in a place that gave us a true flavor of the Puerto Rican culture.
At first we were concerned about the neighborhood, but found it to be safe and people friendly. No elevator, window air conditioner only and a little noisy, no shade on one window and sun beating in, door lock a little insecure, but good security at entry. Someone was playing a saxophone in the street in the middle of the night so we did not get good sleep. At the very least I would ask for a room at the back of the building.
